The Bar sights are off though :p ATM it's just using the front sights, while the rear sights are just completely folded.

BTW; did you fix the cow yet? ^^

More seriously: the screens look neat. Especially the British infantry I spotted!

@ rattus you have an option with the rear sights mate you can either have them raised or not...as i can only put 3 pics along with the main pic i didnt have space to show you raised sights or bipod deployed...having raised sites while moving is a pain in the *** im sure ull agree.

Aiming while moving SHOULD be a pita! But I see your point.

RIGHT!!! enough of this lol! hope this keeps you lot satisfied for a while. Anyway welcome to the October update. This time we are featuring our Sherman VC Firefly in game along with the BAR and Colt.45 (oh and an updated Garand wallpaper for you guys).

Many of you have been asking questions about the BAR and to answer those the bipod is completely deployable in the right situations and you can also raise the rear sight. In addition to this it has two rates of fire and is absolutely deadly (although watch out folks it burns ammo fast and it has a small mag).

The Colt .45 also joins our arsenal thanks to Coyote Ninja. This excellent pistol is proving to be a reliable sidearm for the allied forces. Last and by no means least the Sherman firefly has been lighting up the test sessions and is truly a match for many of the German tanks. So watch out Panzer fans!!

A big thank you must go to Fennich and Exocet who have worked especially hard as of late and once again to the DH team.

See you on the Field,
Aeneas2020

p.s. trust me we have a lot more in game as of now than this along with some awesome new features but we're saving it for something even more special.

NB: Please note the Colt.45 was modelled and Textured by Coyote Ninja (i.e. the media sheet is incorrect).

Excellent stuff!!! Why hasen't this been updated on the DH website ?

Is it just me or does that german camo look bit silly with rest of his gear? :p

It's also a good idea to have some German models wearing only their camo smocks -

Not exactly that, more like farby details in some stuff. Compare that guy in your pic in that one in the media screenshot and you'll figure out few things quite soon.

the german camo is coded so that it appears in random variations of trousers, jackets etc..if and when we get the time we'll be adding our own wehrmacht models to the already excellent stock RO ones unfortunately we can't do everything at once. The camo textures are by fennich by the way, he's doing a great job for us.

to answer the DH frontpage questions our usual website guy has been really busy as of late and our backup guy has just started university. I would do it myself but i've just moved country and job so i'm a little tied up myself. Any volunteers who'd like a webadmin job on the DH team can pm me if they want (please only apply if your up to the job, it requires a fair amount of work).

thanks for the all the replies

That still does not explain why it has sleeve-eagle in wrong place (and it is not supposed to be in your tarnjacke or camo smock), lack of collar tabs and diffrence between smock\tarnjacke and tunic, lack of chinstrap and such.

Not that it matters anyway :p

it's a stock model reskin, if you want to come and model a complete new german model for us, texture it, rig it, animate it and code it into game feel free, perhaps the misplaced eagle you can complain about the rest there is nothing we can do about unless we get some help...please try to understand that we can't simply just throw things into game

p.s. i'm surprised no one has picked up on some of the little easter eggs on the other shots either tbh
