Historical accuracy is what I'm talking about. :p

Yes and thats why I mentioned missions done by small specialist sniper teams sent to terrorise the enemy. Mostly seen on the Eastern front might I add.

Assaulting with a bolt action scoped rifle? Elaborate.

To be a valued team member you 'assault' by advancing as your team advances. Where one moves forward (with the rest of your virtual battalion) as zones are captured!

You don't understand. The scope in game is the M84 which has the ability to adjust elevation for distance shooting. That is the historical accuracy I'm talking about. Sniper are scouts, not assault troops.
You are talking about snipers, the class in the game is probably a sharpshooter class not a sniper class if I'm not mistaken.
