A few weeks ago, we told you about the parachutes that are soon to come. We are pleased to announce that that is not all that is on its way. Since that announcement, our developers have been hard at work smoothing out every last kink we can for this release to ensure that the new version of Darkest Hour will provide a seamless new dose of possibility for all of our players.
What we didn't mention before is that we are throwing in a couple bonuses. Darkest Hour will now include German Fallschirmj

Good news and just to let you know I think the Mod is a marvelous piece of work.
The personal satisfaction of knowing that I'm not the only old man out there testing games/mods just brightens up my day.
Good Work, Good Game.
Thanks...51(?)...

Great news! I am so glad your team keeps adding cool stuff... even if I get my butt constantly shot to bits by those nasty snipers, its great to see the new Enfield!

FJ's dosent got any kind of dungarees. Only in few first tests they got..But its too complicated if you need to do your daily things middle of battle. So its just long jacket whit buttons which connect front side and back side through middle of legs... Check your refs twice

Great job with the mod boys!

Question: Why are we not able to adjust target distance on the 1903 sniper rifle scope? Similar to adjustments made on the german tank sights.

Maybe because its totally not necessary?

In RO, 'snipers' play more of an assault role really, moving with the platoon. Not really lone rangers who had all day to pick out maybe 2 or 3 victims in one sitting.

Historical accuracy is what I'm talking about. :p

Assaulting with a bolt action scoped rifle? Elaborate.

Yes and thats why I mentioned missions done by small specialist sniper teams sent to terrorise the enemy. Mostly seen on the Eastern front might I add.

To be a valued team member you 'assault' by advancing as your team advances. Where one moves forward (with the rest of your virtual battalion) as zones are captured!

You don't understand. The scope in game is the M84 which has the ability to adjust elevation for distance shooting. That is the historical accuracy I'm talking about. Sniper are scouts, not assault troops.
