Delete your DarkestHour 2.0 folder FIRST, before commencing the Steam download otherwise you will get a corrupted build resulting in a CRASH. If you did not delete the folder first, then delete it now, and restart your download.
In definete need of more servers.
There are 4, all 4 are filled to the max, so i can't join.
Got in one server long enough to blow Masta up with a panzerfaust though but i didnt like that map very much so i wanted to try a different server.
Big mistake on my side
Anyways, i wanted to try some maps out in solo, but the game doesnt let me spawn in solo, neither do bots seem to spawn.
Brilliant mod. Just had a good two rounds on Juno Beach and i really enjoyed it. What i have always liked about Darkest Hour is how most of the larger maps are quite linear. They force you down a route, with the choice of fighting left or right side while the action is kept intense. Similar to what a shoe box map would offer but without the spam fest. The urban maps are just sublime.
Thanks for the kind words guys. Let's hope more servers come online over the next few days. I've heard that the ones that are up are all full right now.
@Dcode: Juno is one of my faves of the release. That Sherman tank that shows up can really make things interesting...
dl was quick and hassle free and well over a dozen servers as of this time, central.
I got in a half round on Juno Beach and Brecourt . Both maps looked good and ran good.
Nice job and nice release, congratulations.
Thank-you.
