What does that even mean???There's been an edit to the article. The resolution is changeable, it's the texture quality that does not go higher than 720p.

Lets say you have a 1920x1080 resolution monitor. The game allows you to set that resolution, but the quality of textures is equivalent to a 1280x720 resolution. What does that even mean???

Basically the same effect if you watch a low quality video on a small monitor, and it looks fine, yet if you watch it on a larger monitor, it looks a bit less sharp, since the image is "stretched" to fit the screen.
At least that's how I understand it.
Being on the Rising Storm team I suspect you know more about game developing than I do. So if I'm wrong, correct me.What textures? Makes no sense to me.

What you're describing is a game that runs in 720p, native, and is then upscaled to (but not actually rendered at) 1080p.Lets say you have a 1920x1080 resolution monitor. The game allows you to set that resolution, but the quality of textures is equivalent to a 1280x720 resolution.

Dark Souls was never about the graphics...
I don't really care how massive it is for a Japanese developer. Some warts? Are you kidding? No PC specific controls and framerate issues, locked at 30(?) fps, PS3 size textures only and GFWL. Not touching that with a ten foot pole and I urge others not to support this.
