Custom maps?

Will console players ever see the ability to make and download custom maps, does anyone know anything on the topic

Well I know they're not on console, that's why I asked will they ever be on it

you won't see features like that on consoles. they did it on fallout 4, and it was amazing. but games like this make money off planned obsolescence

I would not trust a map that wasn't whitelisted by the developers on my console anyways. I don't trust the PS4 enough to take chances at poorly designed/optimized maps.

ive been wanting custom maps with random search for years. ever since halo 3 had the map constructor, but you have to invite players to your custom games and it ruined it. if we could have a map constructor, and a mode that allows for random players to join your custom map, it'd be the next step in gaming. the diversity of play would be nearly endless.

I refuse to let this topic die. This addition on consoles (if possible) would be damn near revolutionary in gaming and I'd love it if KF2 was the game to take that leap of faith.
