Note that this is happening on both Windows and Linux, seems like it may be less intensive on Linux though, I wouldn't have noticed without manually checking.

This should be a high priority hotfix, this is destroying the hardware (most servers now use SSD)..

So far, the disk 100% crazy still haven't got fixed in the update 1087. This is surely destroying our system. Please get it fixed asap.

I've been able to manually fix this issue on my Linux servers for quite a while now. Today the two I really don't care about on a Windows box I cannot fix with switching about the steamclient.so. So if what you're hosting is on Windows that may be why, still doesn't solve the problem unfortunately.

Windows side is still broken even if I replaced those files you mentioned earlier, it didn't work. Please fix this.
