Please let us know with the maps released today (biohazard, hospitalhorrors, mountainpass, suburbia) if the old versions are now no longer whitelisted - or are they still? Whitelist update?

The old versions of those maps are no longer Whitelisted. Only the new versions will work.

Whitelist updates do not have to coincide with the release of updates, so we will update the whitelist again with the latest maps when Yoshiro finds some time.

Um, that's not true D: ...

I just tested KF-Suburbia_Final, KF-HospitallHorrors-DCF, KF-MountainPassDay, KF-MountainPassNight, and KF-Biohazard-XTX, and they all still accumulate perks and show up on the server browser.

I'm guessing the whitelist is not updated yet, so please let us know when you take the old ones out.

I think you should still keep the MountainPassNight tough...

i have a question in regards to the stock official maps..

On the Whitelist there all in Uper-case but in my Server Maps Directory the all in lower-case and also on webadmins map list i have them all in lower-case as well... Will this affect perks at all? SOrry if its allready been answered

Case doesn't matter from my experiments. It might if your hosting is linux-based though, not sure. I rename them to KF-CapitalLetters, because I can't stand the lower case in the INI. Make sure to backup your INI, sometimes you can FUBAR it...

Grimpen is a good map but it was made by a hit and run author who isn't likely to return just to fix up a map.

I'd offer to fix the map but there are a TON of issues wrong with it.

I think Ive managed to fix the exploits on the trees and the tall rocks (by removing the "faulty" trees and lowering the rocks so specimens can get up there). Was there something else?

Im trying to pester Olivier into setting up a testing session for Grimpen so we can be sure theres no major exploits left.

I dont usually want to touch the level geometry or static meshes but in case of grimpen it would have taken quite a while setting up blocking volumes and what not so I thought its better this way. The looks of the map wasnt affected noticably.

Sounds like you've fixed the main flaws with the map. The next big issue is serious pathing problems, there are some areas where the bots get so confused it's just as bad as exploiting.

Fix those and Grimpen is probably ready for whitelisting.

Well Im not an expert on Grimpen so I cant tell which parts of the map fail at pathing so badly that it requires fixing.

Ive done my best trying to test the map by myself but its pretty big and Id need a team but Olivier wasnt willing to test it with me :D so I have to wait until someone else does.

I submitted a fix on the whitelisting thread already but I wouldnt be suprised if Ive missed something. Fixed everything KEPT found last time but if there was something else...

KF-Firechess-V1[SUICIDE].rom and KF-Firechess.rom do not register head shots. The other two firechess maps work correctly though. Also all the removed maps are still showing on the first page so those links should be deleted.

Yeah, discovered KF-Firechess.rom is not whitelisted D: ...

Please let us know when this is fixed, I'm taking it out of the server rotation until then.

i didn't want KF-Firechess-V1[SUICIDE] to be whitelisted. they burn before they reach you. if they get to you, you burn, get low health, and die on the way to the trader. in the README i said i threw it in there just for the heck of it

Seems like theres quite a few maps being de-whitelisted.

Wonder if there would be any point making a topic where you can request maps to be fixed in case the original author cant be contacted or he doesnt want to update his maps anymore?

There are a lot of good maps out there which had to be dewhitelisted due exploits so would be nice to know which ones have actually fallen to the dead zone (meaning no-ones fixing them :p) so I or anyone else willing could fix them. Of course I wont promise anything because Im sorta mapping when ever I feel like it, but since it seems Im not the only one doing this.

What HateMe said. From testing, it seems a lot get dewhitelisted simply to a blocking volume missing (Like the Level 2 on Fortress), which is still an awesome map. I'm sure developers wouldn't mind the community adding a Blocking volume or two to areas.
