Nah, it just annoys me to see it there though.

I told Olivier about it and he has done a report on it i think, so should hopefully be gone with the next whitelist update

KF-DOOMedV1-2.rom has been removed due to the acid pit exploit being widely known. Basically, there is a skeleton in front of a mass of machinery and by jumping from the break in the railing onto the ribcage of the skeleton, and from there carefully aiming for the valves next to the tanks (either left or right works) it's possible to get onto the pipes. This prevents any experiment from physically reaching you (excluding ranged) and might even force them to jump into the acid!

KF-Doom2-Final-REWHITELISTED.rom has been removed due to the blue room being too easy to defend. I joined 15 different servers today, running that map, and the only time anyone ever left that room was to run off to the trader, because there is only a single, wide door to get into the room and the room is VERY large in the case that a few zeds do manage to get through. On one server, playing with 5 other Level 1-3 players, I was able to not even play the whole game, and they were still able to take out all of the zeds with only 1 or 2 players dying each wave. This room has been deemed a widely known exploit. Please add other routes to this room and/or make it smaller to make it less defendable.

wow really disappointed about DOOMed being taken off it's the only map i know of that bloats dont spawn in the first wave making beserker leveling a little less tedious.

I got them, but I haven't taken the time to create a proper report for the map developer, yet. Because the map is not widely exploited, I have not been in too big of a hurry.

The blue room is way too easy to defend make it small and very hard to defend ,hard and absolutly not defendable like for example Biotics lab L shape room is :rolleyes:

I hear what you're trying to say, but those 2 rooms aren't even comparable. I guarantee you that the 5 newbs I was playing with earlier would have died in wave 3 or 4 in the Biotics Lab room if I was just standing there and not helping. As it was on Doom2, they often got bored and ran out of the room looking for Zeds to kill, which is pretty much the only time they ever died. 6 good players at Tripwire, with level 1-3 perks on Normal, usually get beaten on wave 8 or 9 when holding up in the room on Biotics with no one going AFK. We could probably have 2 idles players on Doom without breaking a sweat.

umm is this just me???

i was playing this map about 4 hours before it was removed. leveling worked just fine. got back on later to play it and others but i couldnt join a single thing. every time i try to join a server it says connecting yada yada yada ipaddress F10 to cancel. it doesnt go away or connect. even if i host a listen server, the MOTD stays in the middle of the screen the entire time!!! does this have something to do with these maps being removed?? maybe everything is updating on your server that disables stats??? idk how you disable stats for levels and mutators but id like to figure out how to fix this:(:mad::confused:

or how about the door glitch in offices, where EVERYTHING ignores you? If you even tried this map on suicidal with people in that blue room, they might not survive if people are not paying attention. again, fix your core maps before you attack other maps

All I have to say is West London -> Church -> Pedestal... Biotics Lab -> Bed Room -> or Behind Counter... Ice Breaker -> End of Boat Ledge... and a lot more on the Core Maps... "Core Maps"

Calling Doom 2 out for that is a bit... unreasonable.

I'm not trying to start a fight, but TWI did send out that little patch to fix the Console Commands as well as Mutators. Why not send out a similar one to fix those maps first? I doubt that latest patch was planned for more than a year and was pretty hasty to cause so much trouble. Yes. Trouble. Servers with over 6 players won't even allow you to USE perks, never mind Level them.

And another thing some one mentioned to me as I'm writing this. On suicidal in that blue room, I doubt even average level 6's could survive. Then again it all depends on individual skill. A whole bunch of lvl 6's could die on that map on Beginner. If you're going to nit pick on a normal mode game, then please consider other modes and the skill level of the players. It's just not "fair" to look at a map on only one dimension.

You should do like I did with my dark version of Biotics, other door has fallen off and the other one is jammed and unweldable. Now thats evil >:)

About Doom2 blue room, yeah, I played it on Hard with firebug and during the first 5 waves or so I was able to kill all the specimens in - believe it or not - less than 10 seconds, sometimes as fast as 5 (thats AFTER I let them through the door). Basically I just welded the door, waited until they gathered behind it, let them destroy it, threw a fire-grenade and boom they all died. On later waves I just spammed pipebombs there which was easy cause the trader was right next to me, and I wasnt even using demo (still firebug). I even defeated Patriarch with firebug in that same room lol.

I think I got damaged only ONCE by my own pipebomb lol.

Probably the guys at BWH are blaming KEPT for this as usual. Shame tbh.
