I have removed TheLastStand and added TheLastStandV2. TheLastStand-FIN was not submitted for Whitelisting and it looks like V2 is the latest version.
I missed removing KF-Prison, sorry about that. Fixed.
I have updated the first post to fill in the missing download links with links from your post. I have also given due credit. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this and please let me know if you would like it to be done differently.
Also, now that we have 99% of the links thanks to waccracker, please let me know if download links are busted and we will try to come up with a working link.
What about the 420-Ganja and Concert Hall? I'm new to KF. I downloaded the 420 one on the whitelist, tried to play it, but it wouldn't load.
This is more stress than fun.
I don't get this. It's not like it's a competitive game where people are hacking their rank. Everyone's perks are isolated from each other. It doesn't matter. And it's not a skill building thing either. I've seen people who have grinded who are awesome and people who went from start to finish who suck. If you don't want to play with grinders or grind maps, don't. It's called being an adult and having personal responsibility. If you stay away from it all, it doesn't even affect you and if you do, do it, it doesn't affect others. Like I said, it's not a competitive game where you're cheating the race or giving yourself an advantage over real people.
FYI, I don't grind and I don't play with grinders, but if they want to, who cares? It doesn't affect the rest of us in any way shape or form. This Big Brother s**t is nonsense!

Also all this and that map have exploit , are you guys serious? there is exploit almost on every single map and funny part is, even on the maps they come with game,so i don't get how come really fun map like Concert Hall get off the white list and others that have basicly same exploit stays
I'm just curious if the mapper that made the Concert Hall will remake it or if we lost another fun map,well anyway it will stay on my servers,i'm just sad for the ppl they liked the map and are not lv6 that they will not be able to level up for the time when we play this map

alot of people are aware of that, hopefully those type of mutators will be taken off the whitelist too.
Yes, all maps have exploits, but the exploit(s) on Concert Hall were very well known among the community, and were also easy to use and exceedingly effective. For example, of a map has an exploit that can only be used by one person and doesn't allow you to attack a mass of specimens, that map would be whitelisted. A map that allows you to sit high and dry whilst blowing up 20 specimens at a time with the M79 wouldn't.
First of all, the grinders and exploiters DO affect my game, daily. I try to play the map like its supposed to, then the rest of the team decides to go through it by using a glitch in the map, therefor I end up being alone against 300+ specimens. OR, just a while back I joined a server just to notice some idiot was camping on top of a building shooting zeds with a pistol, while there was still that 300 specimens left on the counter. It took like f*cking half an hour until he managed to kill them all (where normally he would have died since he had only pistol) and when the next wave started he died within 2 minutes taking me down with him.
Also, its a pain trying to find decent suicidal servers to play on because 90% of them seem to be running exploitable maps just so they could grind their perks.
Thats why KEPT was created, we test the maps for exploits and ask the map authors to fix them. Hopefully, in the end we have 100% exploit free maps on the whitelist.
And you are right, almost all maps have some sort of glitches and exploits in them, and thats what we are trying to get rid of here.
Then these mutators, like bloated and poundamonium, we are fully aware of how easy they make perk leveling and are actually working on getting them off the whitelist.

I have my own server and I also hate it when people come on and ruin maps by sitting in exploits, it is much more fun watching them die on suicidal when they can't find an exploit! I hate the people who are only good if they can't be hurt. They should really learn how to play the game rather than how to exploit it.

well if you guys are some sort of official ,why don't you get your own server?Or why don't you get admin rights on official tripwires servers,so you can kick the grinders
Well idk how many of you is in the "KEPT",but if its there only 6 of you it would cost you only about $2 a month
i don't believe someone that also pays for his server runs ONLY exploitable maps ,but i can't be certain since i really don't play on other servers (it just seems stupid to me, someone would pay money to run server like that,if he can grind in solo for free)

Well i hope the maps will get fixed too and all the maps will be exploit free,but i also hope if the mappers moved on, to some other games or if you can't contact them ,we as players don't end with 2-10 maps that are whitelisted,because than the game would be screwed and boring to play 10 maps over and over again, because that would piss of more ppl than just me and probably would kill this game

well idk i might be lucky when i play ,i play with ppl that plays and not grinds and i can only talk from my personal experience but i do believe that most players plays and trying to have fun than sit on one spot (flag pole,roof,window,top of the gate,high side of the boat etc..),because that is not fun
Also want to THANK to kingshinobi for redoing the ganja (so we didn't loose another fun map)
IMO all this which map is good enough to be on whitelist and which not is kinda witch hunting and it reminds my youth when komunists were controlling everything and ppl couldn't just do what they wanted or were put in prison or killed if they did,
because right now it seems like this whitelisting and taking of maps that are IMO as good as others, pissing of a lots of pll and killing the game and entire clans are leaving the game including mappers and those are the ppl that would recommend the game to friends (new customers),but now they won't.
Well its up to you Tripwire its your product and you guys see the numbers not me (or ppl that plays on my servers) how many new customers you getting,but i believe there is way more ppl abandoning the game than buying it(when i look on server browser 90%of the servers are empty all the time)
Right now once again the majority of the players is being punished because of the minority and the majority will slowly become minority because if they would be forced to play maps that are not fun for them to lvl up they WILL leave

The only thing we are doing here is finding exploits and requesting them to be fixed. If the map authors refuse to fix their maps, they will be de-whitelisted and thats no longer our problem. However, you are still able to play the maps, you just cant level up on them.

Let me summarize how it typically goes:
1. I open the server browser
2. I notice theres only 2 suicidal servers that are actually running a decent map, and not a grinding map like doom2
3. The other server is full or empty
4. I join the other, just to notice some guy is exploiting
5. I call a kickvote, but it doesnt pass because either the rest of the team are noobs and dont know how to kickvote, or they are also using the same exploit and therefor dont want to kick each other.
6. Im forced to wait until the wave ends, or just quit the game
7. I leave the game on and go do something else meanwhile
8. I come back after 10min but the guy still havent killed all specimens
9. After another 10min I finally join up
10. Next wave, the exploiters fail to reach their camping spot and end up dead
11. Im alone, trying to take out 2-6 man waves alone
12. I die too
13. Aaaand then they vote another exploitable map on
I wasnt talking about KEPT testing sessions there duh, why would we go test exploits on a public suicidal server? No, we have a passworded server with the right settings of course.
I was talking about my own attempts to have some fun in the game, but its being ruined by these cheap exploiters.
If the mapper disappears, someone else can always do the work for him, just giving him the credit. Maybe KEPT can work on fixing maps aswell in the future, I dont know. Its always a bit touchy subject when it comes to editing someone elses creations..
We have set up a new system tho, which allows map makers to fix their maps before we de-whitelist their previous one (which contained severe exploits). So basically, even tho the map has exploits it will stay on the whitelist UNTIL the new version is submitted, and then we simply replace it. Thats assuming the map can be fixed within a week or two.
soooooo basically you're saying you want the whitelist which was made to prevent exploiting, to contain exploitable maps?
that sounds a bit redundant. let's compare which of use deserves TWI's attention more for a second.

me: sacrificed my precious time putting together and organizing a team to legitimately put into effect what I want the whitelist to be and finding people who also want that same goal, as well as put in time to do the actual testing itself and set up every form of communication we have and the review database, despite having college, work and being banned from the forum during the first foundations of the team being laid out, all in the name of my love for a good game and preventing it from being ruined like all other games.
You're entitled to have your opinion of what the whitelist should be for and how severely it should be enforced, but at least put some effort into it rather than just ranting.

Hi there , i am just an anonimous person playing with a bunch of friends in some anonimous public server so maybe this is not important but anyway i would like to say that in my name and in the name of my clan we REALLY apreciate all your efforts , time and dedication; Just in case before someone try to say it Im NOT licking ur boots ( the word is other u may guess ) because idk no one of you , i did never met no one of you in any server But from my point of view ( old fart point of view considering that im a person at the doors of the 40th stage of the life ) when someone Dedicates time and Efforts in anything Deserves respect.
