I saw the movie about a week ago and I must say it has to be one of the best ww2 movies of all time. IMO its as good or even better then Stalingrad. I just wanted to know if anyone else has seen it and what they thought about it.

Cross of Iron better than Stalingrad ? NO WAI, Stalingrad is more realistic and has no "lets make it like hollywood" touch
Yeah Cross of Iron had a few scenes which were a little unrealistic........but its still a great movie!
If you view the full credits and check the cinematographer you find my uncle was responsible
So yes I have watched it and may be biased but I still like it a lot, more so than stalingrad. Also like the book a lot
