I have installed the game and verified the cache, but when i start it from Steam, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to start then brings me all of the logos and stuff, and then goes to the start menu, freezes for a moment or two, and then crashes.

My system specs are

Windows XP
2.21 GHz dual core
2GB of RAM
and a NVIDIA Geforce 8400 GS.

I saw a fix telling me to verify my cache files, so i did, and it didn't help. I also was told to use the redistributable file in "Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra 2\Binaries\windows", and did that to no avail.
Other than that, i wait for your response.
Edit: I have to go to sleep now, followed by school the next morning, so i won't be able to apply any fixes or answer any questions until about 3:00 tommorow, or 15 hours.

I can't get into the game to change that. Do you know which config file/setting holds the AA value?

Patch Fixed it.

Patch Fixed it.

There was a patch today and applying it seems to have fixed the problem. I also turned anti aliasing off in the "Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra 2\ROGame\Config" directory (the file was "DefaultCompat") but I'm not sure whether that changed anything or not.

I'm going to go play the game now.
