I was getting crashing to desktop with the error 'rogame.exe has stopped working/responding'
But after reading other threads on this forum I managed to fix the amount of crashing I was getting
I did this by going to 'My Computer' > 'System Properties' > 'Device Manager'
Then in Device Manager check:
Network Adapters
In network adapters I have 3 which are:
Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller
Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller #2
Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter
(Yours will be different no doubt)
I then right clicked them and went to 'Properties' and then clicked the 'Driver' tab and checked the version and they were versions 2006 etc
So I updated them by going to the Realtek website. Use this link
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=7&PFid=10&Level=3&Conn=2http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=7&PFid=10&Level=3&Conn=2
(You'll have to match it up to the one you have and download the latest)
Once you've downloaded it and installed it, right click it and it should be a newer version like 2011.
Sound, video and game controllers
Open sound, video and game controllers then right click 'Realtek High Definition Audio' then go to properties and check the driver version.
If its out of date, update to the 2011 version using this link
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=falsehttp://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
Tick the box and press OK then use the ones at the top highlighted in blue on the website, and remember to check the one according to your Operating System (32bit or 64bit)
I don't hold any responsibility if anything goes wrong but I will try and help...
Hope it fixes some of the crashing for you, if not all!
Also I have my shadows set to 'Medium', setting them to 'Low' causes it to crash a lot as well.
