Crash at startup

After the christmas update, KF will start to load for several seconds and then close with no error message. Where is a good place to start troubleshooting this?

I'm having the same problem. I'm not sure how to go about fixing it, I have verified the integrity, and it said it was 100% okay.

I did a bit of snooping in console and found out the problem was the resolution....

I would switch between my cinema display @ 1920x1080 to my 15" MBP and found that this was the issue causing it to crash; it could upsize the video but not downsize.

I've installed it on a different user account to play at one resolution and my actual account for the other. Is there some way to have KF ask for resolution size before loading??
