Cover system after patch

So I was trying out new patch last night, and liked the overall feel of it. But one thing that I noticed, was when aiming around a corner when using the cover system. Is that you can go back to cover even though you are still looking down the iron sight. Wouldn't the rifle hit the wall when doing that?

It's been like that from the start. I would like to see that change too but i don't think it's gonna happen.

I don't know about that, its the first time that I've noticed it, and I've tried to cover when aiming around a corner before...
