Copy and paste

I copyed and pasted a barn to put on my map and everything was there except the walls any clue why. TY

Was the barn made of BSP or a mesh? If it was BSP (blue wireframe) Did you rebuild?

Its made out of blue and some pieces are green when surface is selected ,yeah I rebuilt. Still nothing I'm new to mapping so its always trail and error 1st. I'll keep missing with it.

Ok still no luck. Here's what I'm doing File/Open /Arad finding any barn or building I want Ctrl LMB and highlight the building copy and paste it in my test map and rebuild. The only thing I get is say the roof ,door frames ,some doors ,and windows no complete building just pieces of it. Can someone go through the steps. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.TY

Are you selecting the BSP in the 3D viewport?

Try to find the barn you want to copy in the top view and make a select box around it (hold shift and Ctrl or Alt, for the select frame) and then deselect want you don't want by clicking on it (hold Ctrl) and then copy and paste like you did before.
