I cant beleive know one has posted up a link to a John Henry Bonham vid ffs ppl. Thats real rock n roll drumming.
The one and only.
picking between him and Bonham is tough - I appreceate theres loadsa technically gifted drummers in all genres, but by virtue of their playing styles (the epitomy of drumming for me ), and being part of 2 of the most talented groups IMO, these 2 are the very best.
My head says it surely has to be Bonzo: but when I hear Keith's distinctive chaotic rolling beats, well it's not so straightforward.
Alright, this should be the full performance. I'm sure it's also the best quality there is.

If you want to know the definition of rock 'n roll, watch this. You can just feel the atmosphere and the connection between the band and the crowd, it's perfect. Lots of seeds so gogogo

Coolest drummer ever got to be Stuart Copeland- clean, precise and never boring. not a single stroke redundant or fake,- no bombastous, never-ending drum solos. Minimalist to the core.

Don't confuse failure of reading the whole thread with failure of link-following through. I can't follow every youtube link downloading at 2 KBPS.![]()
