Man if you can do that, that would be awesome but just member not to throw in a lot of bloom like they did because no one plays that map in counter-strike anymore because there's so much **** built into it.
There is no bloom in css stock maps and you can turn off HDR. I fail to see a problem
correction there is bloom is css, and yes you could turn it off but one of the main reasons why people don't play that map anymore is there's to much stuff in it.
currently ingame so cant do a proper search, but there is already an ut2004 map conversion of dust, and it was pretty well done if i remember correctly, remember playing it on an invasion server. that should save some time in converting, rather than making from scratch or whatever

May i ask what you mean with "too much stuff into it" because asside from the crate once here and there (which is the exact same like the cs variant in terms of placement), the only other thing stopping me from moving would be a solid wall...
If anything, it's way to empty and uninspired, a relic from the past that should die.
And de_dust2 is one of the most played maps in css, over 5000 servers at this very moment of the 14000 i refreshed to (and stopped at 14k because i wasn't going to wait a lifetime).
I am talking about De_dust friend, and de_dust has to much put into it graphic wise.
