Tactics Containing patty as a zerker

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep patty from attacking your teammates when you're a zerker? I haven't found a way to reliably grab his attention. Hans is very easy to contain and continually parry while others rip into him with their guns, but patty just runs off to chase someone else. Even getting in his way and swinging at him or bashing him doesn't seem to work all that often.

Crabby patty is always like that, he rarely pays any attention to any single person for even for the shortest of time.

But because of this he's also easier to trap himself like a rat if everyone cover each corner, in fact he can be killed on his very first phase.
