Unfortunately have just requested a refund. For me the game is unplayable due to this issue.

In all other respects, I love this game, and thanks to the developers.

I am saddened that this will be the first game I have requested a refund for.

I am getting this message as well. Just purchased the game tonight and was very excited. Have now been temp banned from like 4 servers.

I am on a wired connection, and if it helps I usually get the "speed hack detected" when I respawn.

Try the "101 Jager Realism Server" and let me know how it works for you.

We tweaked the hell out of the server config file in order to combat this. So far I've had pretty good luck playing there. Several hours of play without any Session bans.

I'll get the SHD prompt, and as long as I stay still and hold my breath I won't get kicked. Happens every 20-30 minutes or so. Annoying, but playable. ($40 playable? Well...) We set the config to not session ban under any circumstances.

That goes for any of you suffering from Session Banning - try the above server and report back here if you see an improvement.

Tried your server. Still got the error message and it came with some lag but didn't boot. Better than nothing Thank you

I wonder how many actual speed hack cheaters that feature actually have kicked/banned.

Seems like even more false positives than PB - just remove the feature until it actually works!

I'm still getting Session Banned for SHD outside any server that doesn't specifically allow it.

Very disappointed that the recent 3GB patch I just downloaded didn't fix this.

I have only encountered this a few times on my screen and never been session banned for it, make sure no one else in your home is downloading something or streaming a movie from something like Netflix etc. because that is when it come up on my screen. Because when you begin to get packet lose or laggggg, lol, it thinks you are using a speed hack because your movements are detected as being abnormal.

I've tested this very thoroughly and have attempted to express that in this thread already.

It's not something obvious like someone watching a Netflix movie in the house or even using wireless.

It's poor net code and TripWire needs to fix it.

Im getting supper pissed off at this problem. I have been throwing money at this to fix the problem..180$ router no worky. Next try is a new wireless adapter. I have plenty of returns to radio shack lately lol

They could just remove it and leave the policing to game administrators (Though they need to add in option to become spectator in the game first).
Keep it out until it is fixed completely.

Hmmm the problem seems to be going away for me now, had a good few hours on a couple of servers without any issues. I haven't changed anything on my end.

It seemed to just work overnight, maybe a patch or something my ISP did? At least I can get some good long sessions in now

Get this quite often, the screen starts lagging and telling me that a speed hack has been detected, very weird.

I had this error when the game first came out, it went away, now I'm getting it again and session bans. I haven't changed anything.

Ditto to Mowskwoz here. They did a patch a while back that was suppose to fix it and it seemed to do it for me.. now recently I'm getting SHD again and again.

It's funny too because it's like adding insult to injury. The screen JERKS around when this happens and THEN the game calls you a hacker and stops you from moving XD

I can't see to make sense of this issue at all, but it's getting to the point that even I am getting fed up with it.

This is just utter crap! Never had any problems until a major patch in October came out. Some days are hit and miss. This morning was doing ok. Then I get the SHD msg. and my character skips all over the place. I finally get SB. My ping will start out about 90 then shoot up to 130-150 range. A few times my ping was in the 350 range. TBO my internet connection has been crazy lately. Im on 5Mb cable. Still I should be average about 100ms, and on a good day it will be 85. Like I said before It was not until about the 2nd or 3rd major patch(after the reset). This latest patch problem still unresolved for me.

Yes. I'm not happy at all. I have a problem with Red Orchestra 2 when I got speed hack for no reasons. I have less ping and I've got banned out of server for using speed hack. This is BS. Please Tripwire, you gonna fix this. I need to figure way out how to remove speed hack? I'm trying to do trial and error on this game, but still speed hack. This is same problem as Battlefield 4 when they got crashed and out of game. I'm not playing Red Orchestra 2 unless you give me the answer about removing speed hack as fixed.

Encountered a speedhack false detection on map Winterwald with a wireless connection.

Got briefly stuck on some terrain (aircraft fuselage on the way to objectives D/E) which caused speedhack warnings to fly in like crazy. Warnings stopped once I became unstuck from the terrain, but I was subsequently session banned after a brief delay.

Hope this helps figure out what causes the problem (never had this problem except this one time).
