Connecting to server takes a while

Hi,

I was wondering what 'decides' your connection speed to servers, is it RAM, GPU, CPU, Internet?

I'm just wondering because it takes me anything from two to three minutes to connect to a server, which is very annoying. I always miss the first round in Countdown etc and it's just generally frustrating.

If I knew what was the major deciding factor was, I

I have the same problem

Connecting to servers takes way too long, the map load is fast but i normally spend 3-4 minutes waiting to connect to the server first.

which is **** annoying
