Connect to Server fails

Hi Guys,
i've been reading here since i got KF last year, never had any problems so far.

The last 2 months there were problems connecting to servers every time. So i have to connect twice to every server every time. It has to be the same server, unless i want to play on it. It's a bit annoying cause i have to re-search the servers every single time, with no stop-the-refresh button it is kind of a lucky game to find the server a second time when i connected the first time.

Is that a known issue and is there a fix somewhere around?

Fix file doesn't work, as said in the thread, but the Telnet fix does.

The Telnet fix didnt work for me... I dont get a connection to the modem, as said in the description.

What i would do is right click on the server you want to connect to and add to favorites and then join it from the favorites list twice; you dont have to refresh your favorites list more than once and when you do it should not take very long.

I think, thats the only possibility for me.. Is it normal, that there can be only 4 fav'd servers in the favourites?

And yes i have the same problem..iv tryed stickes but none of them worked?
So only solution is to add sever to favorites?

You should be able to have more than 4 servers in favorites. I only had issues adding servers back when the retail first came out but it's since not given an issue. You could try manually adding servers to the ini but that's a bit problematic if you don't have the ip and port.
