For Red Orchestra I would like to see improved teamplay points system, where player gets more information (but no for +100 popping from nowhere in the middle of screen) for what he earns his points.

Not a must, but would be nice to have a window for that.
Don't put it on the scoreboard itself. But sometimes I thought I was doing great and didn't get much points, while with this I know I haven't capped anything and didn't resupply a MG.
Although it could focus you on capping, while you did great covering your mates anyway.
Scores are really unimportant (changed opinion while typing this... nice?)

Kills and deaths have no place in RO or HoS. Really the only thing you need is hours played, and Steam has that covered.

How many games have you played that don't keep score? You might be looking for some kind of war simulation but I'm looking for a game I can play to have fun. Maybe you could join the army?

At the end of the game, we need scores to see who won, do try and keep up :IS2:

Sometimes it's just nice to see how you're doing.

Making those stats public however, is something I couldn't care less about.

Sorry Baws, Isa havin a hard time keepun up.

At the end of the game, we need objective status to see who won. And it's not the illusion of experience, it just lets one know how much time they've sunk into the game, be that good or bad.

Well, if you've actually played the game for said hours, then sure. But, there are always the people who keep the game running, per se, but don't actually play. So, when someone looks to see that they have a lot of hours on the game, others may think they're good.

Games only track hours when the game program is running. Having steam open by itself does not count towards hours in other games.

but I digress, what about the other side of the coin, can "teamplay" statistics hurt gameplay? What if everyone was worried about getting cap points and act like lemmings headed to a cliff?

Personally I say track all stats, let people play how they want, Game dynamics and player experience will sort out the problem players/noobs and make them either stop playing or conform to a style that will benefit play in one way or another, just like how it is now.

What do you think I've been doing :p

I fell asleep with Mass Effect 2 running a couple times and now I've got more than 100 hours logged

you know, them caring about their kill death ratio may make it more realistic also, no more super rambo, altthough I believe there are far more bad then good things when it comes to unlockables and things

I wouldn't mind some sort of tracking system, but if it somehow encourages rambo play style with ego points I wouldn't. Whatever they decide, i'm sure Tripwire will implement it in the best way possible.

As long as there's a stat for the amount of times you've killed Machoman.

Can we have dynamic stats that can be put in your sig? I want to be able to make my KDR bright red too so I can flame people for being n00bs when I disagree with them and then track down their profile and quote their negative KDR in my 1337 response showing how crappy they are :) Everyone will know how hardcore I am because of my statsig.
