As a start, watch the video. It speaks for itself ;)

Done? Cool. Welcome back!

While stitching together my recent KF-Zedsplosion map with massive destruction I felt like exploring this path of map design even further.

KF-Destruction (as it is code named right now) is a functionality concept that began as an "is this possible" idea on whether or not it was plausible to make a nearly fully destructible map environment where players can break almost literally everything - even walls, floors and ceilings - using ONLY the official meshes and resources available from the official TWI map packages. After a little tinkering and video editing, I am now convinced that yes it is.

I plan to continue working on the map, adding even more destruction and carnage that will be 100% copy/paste compatible when KF-Destruction is made publicly available for anyone to download and use freely (any credit my way is of course greatly appreciated).

Right now the map is not planned as an actual playable level with zeds, as it really is more of a resource and testing project. But I won't deny that the idea of building a fully-fledged playable map with this level of destruction is very appealing.

I will make another video very soon which will be a lot less cinematic and a lot more demonstrative and voice narrated, to better show in detail how the map works.

Ol'Blighty.
Agreed, watched it repeatedly, almost mesmerising in the slow-motion sequences near the end - even when you miss the shots, stuff breaks all around, kinda like the Matrix. Without the absurd wall/ceiling running. XD Also he actual environment looks just wonderful, realistic and terrible cabin in the wood-sy, though that is more personal feeling.
