I've noticed that over the years of KF2's various updates there hasn't actually been a lot of content other than maps lifted from the workshop and put into the game, it's been almost entirely IJC developed content or stuff made in house. This is a massive shame since there's a wide selection of gorgeously designed skins and cosmetics on the workshop that are going utterly unused. This drought of community content has caused some weapons to have nothing more in terms of skins than a neon or dragon-koi skin available in their skin roster.

So my request is this. Perhaps every update you could release a secondary themeless bundle called the "Community Cosmetic Bundle" that takes a bunch of the best stuff from the workshop regardless of if it matches the theme of the update or the theme of the other stuff in the bundle and lumps it into one convenient DLC pack.

Here's some examples of great content that's going unused:

Fire-axe | Wolfsbane by KingPooChicken

SCAR-H | Decontamination Unit by -Sparkle-

MP7 | Little-Red-Dread by KingPooChicken

HRG Buckshot | Plan-B by KingPooChicken

Stoner 63A | Police by Young Freak

Tactical Support Rucksack by Mimikyuu the Wimikyuu

M43 Field Cap by Spark Wire

Great idea, would bring in more customization variety for weapons that need it.

Not to mention that the Workshop has a voting queue for skins and an "Items to Curate" section which are thoroughly being underused, if not unused completely. I know the community votes on those skins, so it would be a shame to see their votes accounting for nothing. IJC do make good stuff but they're not the only ones around; the workshop is filled to the brim with amazing submissions by very talented individuals and seeing their efforts go to waste is disheartening.

The last thing I want to see in kf2, cosmetic- and skin-wise, would be obnoxious RGB skins, paint splatter and large decals. Would absolutely support "Community Cosmetic Bundle" updates if the cosmetics and skins were on the opposite side of the spectrum.

I'm honestly tired of the mountain of skins this game has. That's honestly not what I'm looking forward most when I'm popping a new game, and I feel that they kinda overblew it in the first few years of the Zedconomy. Nonetheless, supporting the community is ALWAYS a good and respectful move. I believe something as simple as what Team Fortress 2 did would be great : each artist is earning a small amount of what every item is making by sales. It also reduces the work needed from Tripwire a tad bit and is obviously a great way to prove to the community that the devs are caring a little bit.

But that's obviously the latter part that has been missing as of late... Oh well, at least they've asked us what kind of guns and weeklies we would like in the future. So there's that. That's the closest they've been to the community for the past few years.

Also, it's a 100% yes for HRG skins. I tend to like most of these guns, but really don't like the "white and blue" color scheme. I also don't get why they removed the ability to apply skins to them : sure, it would have been handy to avoid painting both the original gun and the HRG version with the SAME skin (as to avoid confusion). But other than that? Just let us customize our weapons the way we want dammit !
