Railgun, I choose Rapid Fire because of followup shots. In my experience I am rarely caught reloading as opposed to having enough bullets, with the ARs anyway. The lack of speedy followup shots means that even loaded there are some extensions you cannot get in time, whereas with Rapid Fire you can guarantee another notch on the rifle as the odds of being caught short are low with Large Mags and Tactical Reload (makes me reload more often, usually full gun the moment I can breathe).

2 other reasons though: Firstly I am completely indifferent to all Zed Time skills, usually I see what they do at 25 and just pick whatever (only one I have a preference for is Zerk's Spartan as you can feel like a ninja or something). Second reason is yes, more ammo makes me enjoy blasting stuff slightly more indiscriminately (in my eyes it is more fun than total minimum-resources precision/pragmatism, which is always an option but just not the one for me).

I found myself using both skills, before and after the recoil change that I frankly didn't know of until q3.railgun mentioned it :p
I mostly play with a double AR loadout (SCAR-H and AK). Problem is when using the AK you sometimes do not trigger an extension when shooting at Gorefasts. Not even if you take a headshot.

Both skills are bugged. It's alreay reported.

@Gallic and Ryno - So I guess it really just comes down to personal preference. I myself find that for what you guys posted, the slow down during ZT is enough for me and due to my mind not able to properly adjust the recoil I run Prof.

I see the points about running and gunning but I find myself stopping to hipfire or ADS fire without moving to clear the immediate path then continue on running. Both things get the same end result so to each their own right? It just matters which one people are more comfortable with rather than a this one is an obvious winner.

I like both but I usually go with rapid fire because it really helps when you're in a pinch.
