Hey got this idea when watching Greatest Tank Battles on Discovery, and I think the commander should be able to just pop his head out!

I really hated how the commander looked out of the hatch. He looked like he was in some kind of military parade circa 1936!

It looked quite bad and made him an easy target!

I think the poor chap should be able to stick his head out partially, only inhibited by bits attached to the tank and then fully exposed if he wants a better view!

Watcha reckon?

Yeah, good idea. Like a three-stage unbutton feature.

Mouse wheel up, first stage: open hatch

Mouse wheel up, second stage: peek just out hatch

Mouse wheel up, third stage: fully exposed, able to use binoculars

I'll only agree to this if I can lunge grenades into open hatches!!!!!!! :)

And if the commander is shot while the hatch is open, the hatch should remain open until someone moves into the commander slot to close it.

It would be good if when the hatch is open, it becomes a part of the cover system, so the commander can peek out, and fire his personal weapon out of the hatch.

Othervise good, but commander should be able to use binoculars also in stage 2, since that
