Hopefully in RO:HoS it will give you the option to make your name a certain color for multiplayer, like if your unit had black and red tags or something of that manner

Did anyone answer if it was possible to add a tag to your name that is not in your steam name?
I prefer to not have a tag in my steam name.
It is in the roladder wish list but not any confirmation from TWI.
I prefer to not carry a clan tag within my regular steam name as well. So it would be nice if you could for instance add a clan tag in front of your regular steam name.

I assume there will be scripts or whatever that would do that automatically, if that is what you were worried about =).
I hope steamworks will use steam group tag feature, so you can pick which tag do you can use (instead of writing it in old way in "name" field). I'd be cool to have it

Well, If there are coloured names. Make sure the colour only shows in the scoreboard or somewhere else.

I love that idea, it makes changing names easy! Say like a clan wants to put ranks in the names, when they get promoted/demoted, it makes it easier.
Not a big issue, but I do find this annoying. I like having different names for different games occasionally.
