Hello, I would like to give a suggestion, how it should look like - collecting weapons after dead soldier. In RO2 I see lying on the ground - only weapon and no magazines. When I take this weapon, I have just as many rounds, as remained in that weapon.

More would I like it, if when "dead" (or thrown) weapons would be throwed on the ground and a magazines around it, as it was for example in MP game Vietcong. It would be quite nice to look ammo and gun in tall grass, or if ammo and gun slipped down the hill. :)

Sry 4 my bad English. :)

Last time I checked(I didn't pick up enemy weapons often) you gained all magazines for the weapon you pick up in RO2 unless the prior owner already went through most of his ammunition.
I definitely remember picking up PPSH-41s and MKB42s and having multiple magazines come with them, however the current mag in the weapon would only have as many rounds as the previous owner had in it(which is why I always mag check every weapon I pick up).

Yeah, I've done it plenty of times in RO2 and RS and when you pick up a gun you get what ever ammunition the previous guy had.

This kind of brings up ammo in general though, but I think (since most weapons will be automatic) that each time you rank up a class you should unlock additional magazines. Like how the shotgun works in RS.

You already got additional ammo when you ranked a class up, the shotgun just got additional shells through weapon ranks instead of the class using it(or both, not sure).

I don't think you need more ammunition just because most weapons will have an automatic fire mode. If they do it right that AK or M16 should be just as good in semi-automatic as it is in full automatic. Personally I think semi-auto should be the go-to for an assault rifle since that's how they're employed 95% of the time in the real world(by anyone with any training at least). Of course who am I kidding, I'm sure the vast majority of players will just leave it on full auto 100% of the time.

I'd enjoy having to grab the weapon and the ammo pouch(es) separately. The most awesome thing would of course to take the ammo from the dead body as the pouch belt would surely not go BOOM just because you killed the soldier.

Then there are bugs I do not wish to see return to RS2. First is the bug that makes it impossible to pick up a weapon that is lying straight in front of your feet. Same happens if the weapon (mostly handgrenades) are bouncing around like a rubber ball.

The second is you pick up a weapon and it's gone. It's not in your inventory despite pick up sound and it's also not on the ground.

It's a bug? I thought it was some kind of protection. I experienced this when I wanted to pick up a smoke grenade.

As squad leader in RS, I always want have two smokes. I come the the ammo box. Drop one smoke, take one from box. Then I want to pick up that dropped. It is on the ground, but I can not pick it.

In the worst scenario the first one dropped smoke will immediately disappear. Some protection against a lot of smoke on the map? Or against the superiority of a certain type of weapons on the map?

You can carry only a certain amount of each weapon/ammo. I was thinking of occasions when I was a rifleman on a close quarter map finally finding an abandoned SMG and then I couldn't pick up the weapon. This is frustrating as hell.
Or even worse: You pick it up, here the "added to loadout" sound and then want to switch to the weapon you just picked up and it is gone. Neither on the floor nor on your weapon bar.
