Will two or more people be able to play in the same tank (aka Team Tanking or multicrew from Battleground Europe) a bit like RO: Ostfront? I know I'd love to do it with a friend or two.

Yes, and unlike RO1, when a tank shell goes through the armor, crew members can be killed by the shell. And unlike RO1, you have to switch positions manually, so if your in the gun and want to drive, your going to have to crawl to the driver's seat and replace the dead driver.

If you decide t o solo the tank, the other 2 crew members will be manned by an AI, you can order and tell the driver where to go, or the gunner where to shoot if you don't want to man those positions, but you will also have the ability to instantly switch between positions as long as the AI's are alive.

basically tank combat has been revamped and will certainly be refreshing change, but no more tank hopping I've heard, as you spawn in the tank and are bound to it until death.

That reminds me of something I was wondering. On larger tank maps (where there may be many tanks) Can you choose which tank you will spawn in? Ost Front obviously you can just walk up and enter the tank which you wish to enter, but if you're already spawning in the tank and can't get out, I wonder how it will work. I guess there will be a squad system, and each tank squad will be the crew for 1 tank perhaps?

What would be the single tanking limit for both sides on a map be?
How many tanks can play at once? The epic tank battles like the current Red Orchestra Black Day July map must be experienced again in RO2.

Hopefully the tank map they have previously mentioned will play like that. By filling the map with one player tanks it makes for large WWII engagements unavailable anywhere else like the BDJ and Krivirog maps.

Actually no, because there's 1 tank for each side. After the DLC there will be 2 tanks and 1 transport vehicle for each team, but it's still unknown how the future vehicle-spawn will work. ;)

Is that gonna be some kind of game mode(tanks only) with out be able to get out of the tank?

You can't get out of tanks in general, even on combined arms maps. So in that sense, it's sort of a tank only "game mode." You do have the option of team tanking, which would bring the total numbers of tanks down from 64, while retaining 64 players.

Are you able to stick your head out the hatch? and if so, will the hit detection be better than in RO1/DH? I get tired of shooting they're heads and seeing sparks :/ (I've actually lied down once, weapon rested, and shot a guy 3 times in the head but nothing happened).

What will happen to the bodies? Will we see dead crew members when they get hit and have to push them out of the way? Blood all over the interior? Or will they just magically disappear and leave the tank spotless clean?
