I would like to propose that weapons that don't even have iron sights (melee weapons, welder, med-gun) activate their "alternative fire" not only when the "alternative fire" button is pressed but also when one of the "iron sights" buttons is pressed.

"Alternative fire" wouldn't be necessary for anything but toggling the flashlights on the dual9mm then and as I only use that once in a blue moon now that I don't need it to aim anymore :))) I could bind that to a key somewhere out of immediate reach and make room for stuff that is needed. E.g. voice commands.
