The blender hands are not rigged and I'd have no idea how to animate and what file formats to export as or anything anyway.Model looks good, just get the KF hands and animate it.
I can only model and texture stuff.
I thought this could somehow replace the katana model with the same animations though.

For a second I thought this was about an explosive.
But yeah, a sword, why not. Would be great if the who-ever-codes-and-animates-it could add something "more" to the weapon to make it unique, so instead of just replacing the katana it could be its own weapon with its own pros and cons.

Can you show me how so I can do it on my own so you have 1 less thing to do in the future?
I guess it involves sticking a bone called "katana" in the grip and replacing some files?
Also I'm not done yet, I'll keep adding more details to it.
It's only ~700 faces right now, there's so much more room for stuff to add...
Edit: and my skills to pick a good reference fail me yet again.

This is _exactly_ what I have wanted for a long time. A true sword to replace that piece of nippophilia. I hope you can make it in a whitelisted mutator, and I will worship the ground on which you walk.

If it is not a model replacement but a seperate weapon, I'd recommend the same DPS as the Katane, but with slower, more damaging swings. It is listed as 3 kg of steel, and a lenght of 1.4 meters. Roughly the same as a big axe, but on the axe you have a wider seperation of hands for a quicker motion. So real slow, real deadly, please

Alroit lads, I re-did it now with shapes closer to what it actually looks like.
Those darn ornament things swallowed faces up like a sponge and still do not quite look right but oh well
Now I must dive into how to do uv texture maps properly instead of just projecting a view so it'll look good and then it's done and ready to take off some heads.

It's only a model at the moment, it still needs animating and coding before it gets into the game.
