Yeah, I read that (as well as a bit of stuff on their licensing website as well), but I'm not sure what use your game would fall under.

Talk to the guy who developed Beat Hazard, I know that he had to add AAC support as paid DLC because of the licensing costs.
With this download you can play non-DRM iTunes, mp4 and AAC files in Beat Hazard! The cost is to cover the per copy license fee needed for the patented AAC decoder.

I believe if I release the Source Code of the Engine, then I will be able to use AAC without paying any royalties, which is what I was already planning on doing anyway =)

Yeah, players could use conversion tools to get their music into OGG format, but it'd be good to support as many formats as possible so people don't have to go through the effort. We'll see what the costs are and/or how well the game sells, but at least players can always use converters =)

yes please for not having to convert to ogg. To be totally honest, I hate it when games actually force you to use outside programs or be good with computers/technology. I mean, I just stopped being "technogically challenged", and I know that I still dislike messing with file types.

I am in complete agreement, timur, as long as its financially feasible, it will be done. I wish I could just say "it will be done", but I'm not exactly a rich man =)

If I was you Xienen, I would get on the dog and bone to dB and say, "hey let's create and integrate an in-game module that will allow players to convert their legal files, as desired".

A small step for TW, a giant step for mankind !
:)

If you need any more solutions, just let me know ...

That's a lot of companies that went kaput on you there Dayle;)

Luckily you found TWI, and made an awesome company even better.

Of course, in case you need assisstance I will start looking into learning REAL programming, because I doubt my current tinkerings really count.

No matter what happens with me, Best of luck:D

Looks pretty interesting, so you have to click on the tetrix blocks (while the move down on the beat of the music) till they are filled up and then they are ready?

This game looks so hilarious that it's a must buy. :D

This game needs The Ball-, kf- and RO-character. :p

We've made such a suggestion, so we'll see where that goes. I believe Ramm said "if the game's good enough...", so I'll focus on making the best game I can for now =)
