Did someone try to do the new calculation for the damage of the Zwei for the new build ?

Cause, I think I'm doing something wrong...

We got for the alt-fire :

Version 1013 : 290 * 2 (lvl20) * 1,2 (level 15) * 1,75 (damage for being lvl 25) = 1,2 K ?

Version 1014 : 195 * 1,25 (lvl20) * 1,2 (level 15) * 1,75 (damage for being lvl 25) = 511.

So, obviously, it divided the damage by more than 2.

But, I may be wrong regarding the basic calculation.

You think the zwei dealt 1.2k damage per Hit?

I may have made a mistake myself but it used to be 812 damage per hit (half of it to scrakes and fleshpounds).
It is exactly 400 damage per hit after the change (200 to SC&FP).

Pulverizer without ammo will have a slightly higher dps against scrakes and fleshpounds.

Like 1700 dosh versus 1000 is going to somehow magically make the Zwei unpopular.

Seriously, how does that even register as a solution.

Prevents it to be bought early on and possibly during the first Scrake and FP waves (well at least in Normal length, in Long, well if people give money to the Zerk he's gonna be able to buy it early). Still I think the nerf is a bit strong, 2/3 of the original damages would have been fine (maybe a tad less). But still, considering the smash perk of the Zerker I think it's pretty nice to avoid FP over-bashing in HoE

That's why I said I was doing something wrong :)

Because it seems really too much.

But, it's weird because if the prior Zwei was doing 812 damage, it means the damage multiplier amounts to 2,8 (2,8*290 = 812).

We got : 1 (normal damage) +1 (level 20) +0,2 (level 15) +0,75 (bonus damage from being level 25) = 2,95 damage multiplier.

Meaning : 290 * 2,95 = 855.

Now, with the version 1014 we got : 1 + 0,25 + 0,2 + 0,75 = 2,2.

Meaning : 195 * 2,2 = 430.

Unless I missed something

I used these:

Perk passive @level25 +50%
Furious defender +20%
Headshot multiplier +10%
Smash +100% (or +25% now)

because as a weapon that is only available with a game the weapon was to OP. If it was available for anyone at anytime it might just went a little different.

I think thos nerf was to prevent "Pay 2 win" in some idiotic eyes.

We have a series of demo weapon changes we are looking at, but we wouldn't have enough time to do any testing against them before this update so we held off.

Wouldn't it be ideal to hold off on making any changes to the Nuke skill until these noted weapon changes are ready?

You're basically talking about weakening an already weak (compared to KF1) perk without anything being done to offset.

My concern is it will be 3 or 4 months until the offsetting changes are seen, basically leaving this perk close to worthless for the foreseeable future.

it would feel more like the chivalry zwei if they kept the damage the same but tremendously reduced the attack speed.

[*]Medic
  • Armament 25% less effective heal and will heal 1% armor (down from 10% less effective and 2% armor)

What's the mechanic behind the less effective heal?
Does it still heal the same amount per sec, but only for 75% of the standard duration or does it heal at 75% of the rate, but the same duration?

While the first doesn't really matter too much, the latter can get a team easily killed...

BTW- I couldn't find an answer in the stats.

While it's nice that the zerker isn't a bloody meatwagon anymore , I think you maaaaay have nerfed him a bit too much, but we'll see in game. I'm glad you nerfed the medic a bit though.

I would have loved if you did something for the demo though... Everyone was complaining about nuke so it's nice that you did something, but it was also the only way for him to deal damage effectively,as he is pretty underwhelming... I hope we'll get something for him soon enough (next update maybe?)

Otherwise, everything looks tasty and I'm eager to try it all out!

His damage was fine before the zweihander was added, it'll be fine after its nerf.

Excited for the update. Not very excited about everyone using Gunslinger. At least with the last update we received two perks at once.

Also if other perk classes had received substantial updates r (demo), there would possibly be more people eager to play them as well.

well just give it a couple of days after release. After a week the new perk syndrome will wear off and people will resume using their favorite perks. Personally though it seems for me that this might be my go to perk until sharpshooter is in the game. Only thing that is similar right now.
