The title pretty much says it all. It's understandable when you have zero resistance and your screen goes all fiery and blurry, but when you have 90% or 100% resistance it's just annoying and not necessary. It'd be nice if the effect is lesser if you have more resistance.

Who agrees?

what do you mean by resistance? the damage you take? recoil? chinese food?

As firebug, you gain fire resistance, but the on fire blur / flash / shake effect stays at the same strength. Somewhat annoying when it, logically, shouldn't be doing as much to that player.

I agree, the intensity should be lowered depending on your resistance. If you have 100% then there should be either little or no flames stuck to your character.

I personally think the duration of the fire effect should be halved to reflect the fact he can't be harmed by fire. The flames should die fairly quickly on a flamebug.

Maybe add fire effect duration modification for different perk levels?

Soanos I am loving that idea and I hope that they do implement something like that.

Firebugs shouldn't be affected by the flame effect, period. It makes sense for someone who isn't specializing with a flamethrower, but I'd like to think someone who uses one as their primary weapon would wear flame retardant clothing.

No flame based vision impairment on firebugs please!

Skunkee is right, we should be wearing flame retardent clothing. They need to do something about this.
