Calm down...arguing isn't accomplishing anything. Everyone not level 5 is probably there to 'Level' in some sense, that's just a fact of the game. The problem comes in when folks start thinking in terms of kills/money instead of strategy. Having shotgun folks waste precious shells on single Clots in Suicidal when a chainsaw kills it for free is dumb...

Shells cost money and on Hard/Suicidal, a single clot doesn't even cover the cost of a shotgun shell! Not to mention that you're fairily limited on it...on Hard, folks need to realize that the Berserkers are there to save you money, not just to 'steal kills'.

Blast clusters of Gorefasts. Blast Bloats. For the love of god, blast Crawlers and Sirens. But if you see a Berserker about to totally own a row of Gorefasts and Clots for you, let him do it! It's not stealing your kills, and even if he doesn't give you the money (If he has enough, I don't see why he wouldn't, though), you're still saving money by not wasting ammo on things that are already going to die...

Also, the "we have every right to chainsaw stuff before you can kill it and if you cant kill it before we get to it then you just suck." attitude isn't very helpful. A lot of folks already see berserkers as rogue-players who aren't part of the team. Acting like that will just reinforce that. And believe me, if a team sees you as 'rogue', they also see you as expendable...

I do apologize him that i may have been a bit harsh cuz i was tired back then i posted that. But still, hes calling me "whiney ****er" and stuff, and he didn't even understand my point on that reply. Personally, i could bet he didn't even read the whole reply i wrote.

Back to the thread. I make this short and simple; There-is-no-such-thing-as-"your"-kill!!!

i played on one server on normal difficulty with a lvl 4 support specialist soloing and deliberately separating from the group to get over 60% of the kills. i decided to follow him coz it was boring only being able to find the occassional specimen walk towards me.

he actually told me to F*** off coz he was obv trying to level up. i told him he didn't own the server and continued to follow him around taking some of "his" kills just to piss him off.

now i'm playing on hard difficulty so you get less of these annoying rambo players.

You do realise you can just run with the knife for the most speed?

I don't notice a speed difference between the knife and axe as a level three berserker. When I'm hurrying, I switch to the knife out of habit from other classes and wonder why I'm not really going any faster.

It might just be me, though, as I haven't timed it or raced anyone to see for sure.

I don't think there's a speed difference between all the melee weapons except for the chainsaw.

This is true. The only difference is in attack speed and damage. And honestly, when Berserker hits Level 4 or so, the Attack Speed of the axe is so fast and the damage of the machete so good that they're both about equal. Knife still sucks, though, and Chainsaw is still the sheer damage-king, though move-crippling at times...

after i get my chainsaw, all i buy at the trader is ammo and armor, i throw the rest of my cash on the floow for others to enjoy.

yeah those dickheads piss me off too. Good on ya for it. I rather like playing in a team environment. You were just helping him out of course, like a good team member should be doing kekeke

If they want to rambo then complain when soming is assisting, they should shutup, leave the server and play a solo game. On the servers I have admit rights too, I'd just kick them after a few warnings and ask them to play solo.
