You'd think all mutators and maps would default to greylist![]()

We've been over this. Due to limitations of the Steamworks platform, automatically greylisting mutators would allow mutators of malicious intent to add perk experience and Achievements at their leisure. The manual auditing process exists to ensure that listed mutators play by the rules.
The stock specimen-only mutators should be greylisted because they're known not to pull any dud stunts, but the same guarantee cannot be extended to every mutator in existence.

I dont get the point... Pandemonium is a mutator made by TWI, so why is not greylisted?
As far as I know, there is no map greylist - unlisted maps are equivalent to greylisted mutators. Now that i think about it more, i can see the point with mutators, but shouldnt maps be ok then? or can maps have dodgy code for that sort of thing too?

Becuase you can use it to spam high amounts of explosive damage in the first 30s of the map loading, then repeat and repeat and repeat
you dont know what is the greylist
I don't understand why everything wouldn't be grey listed. You can use your perks and not improve them. What exactly is the point of a black list?
Imagine if everything was greylisted. The only way to tell if a game you were in accumulated stats would be to complete a match, then wait for the map to change to check if what you earned had actually saved.

By community demand, Tripwire Interactive would like to announce the creation and use of the "Greylist". This is a list, much like the whitelist that allows the use of your perks, however with this list your perks will be reset to what they were at the start of the round when the map changes. This was created so community members could use their hard earned perks with their favorite mods and mutators!
The current list can be found HERE
Check Headshot total, take out 9mm, headshot a few zeds, check headshot total. if its levelling its whitelisted right?
Perks accumulate in greylist but do not save at match end. Which is why I said it would be a nightmare to greylist eveything.
