It got fixed today, I am able to connect to servers again

Not me though, I still gotta do the console/ open [ipaddress] workaround to join a server.

So, after weeks talking with Steam support, KF still cannot utilize a myriad of services expected for the $10 price tag.

I've been in contact with Steam for over a month. Here is a copy:
I think my ticket number is 8794-UALC-6624

You, Yoshiro, directed me previously to Steam. Steam is directing me to you.
I honestly don't care who's fault it is.
Can I have my $10 back please?

This fits my issue as well. I can get into servers, but only if I hammer them repeatedly. If I have access to the server logs (We run some community servers) they all say my steamid is not passing validation.

Also been having this issue for about 3 weeks or so now. Tried tons of things and nothing has seemed to fix it.

Also I'm running on windows 7 x64 bit and have a netgear router.

delete steam_appid.txt file in your system folder.

then you can connect to servers.

Are you sure your KF is updated? because AFAIK you cant play online when your game isn't the same version as them.

Hello, I JUST bought the game. I've opened my ports and done everything that was on the sticky thread on multiplayer problems and well, nothing has worked.

Basicly, I'm getting this problem;

Whenever I manually type in an IP Address OR click to join another server, I get the CONNECTING, IP _ _ _. _ _ _. _ _ _. _ _ / INDEX.ROM

And it's just stuck there. Nothing will change. Just a black screen and those words. This is also happening to another friend of mine. We bother restarted steam/reainstalled/opened ports / you name it. And I can't fins a solution ANYWHERE.

Any Ideas or Help?
