Opens for me. Maybe there was a tool update and it works again.

If it still doesn't open for you:
Did you try to use "verify integrity"?
What happens when you try to open it directly?
Code:
steamapps\common\killingfloor2\Binaries\SDKFrontend.exe
Maybe reinstalling helps

Tried verify integrity, data 100% installed.

Nothing happen at opening SDKFrontend.exe

Tried Reinstall, doesn't help.

Can you tell me what OS you were using.

I am very worry it's happen in win10 users.

I got a win10 update, but it still not solve the problem.

64bit Win10Pro here.

Maybe security software blocking it from being executed. Does it appear in task manager?
Or some kind of bug.

Are you able to use the preview version of the SDK? Right Clck SDK in Steam Library -> Properties -> Betas -> Preview

Hmm, I saw 2 outdate messages from my Avira software update scan :

Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistribut...
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistribut...

Probably it may affects some framework, I will check it out.

Used the beta, it finally shows up but my memory data all lose.

Look like my normal version has trouble in it.

OK, I can upload files in beta version, problem solved.

Strange.

When looking at https://steamdb.info/app/232150/depots/ I can see that the public branch was updated 2017-11-10 19:29:50 UTC. But the libraries didn't change (VC2015 + .NET 4.0). Is that around the time when it stopped working for you?

Avira might be trying to upload the file because it is new and small.. and get stuck somehow. If the preview version disappears or you want to try the public one again you could try again in a few weeks. Or add the file to your Avira whitelist, so that it isn't scanned.
