Can't launch RO "The game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time"

It worked perfectly well 2 days ago, but tonight I get this error when trying to launch RO from steam:
"The game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time"

I tried disabling my firewall, I removed it completely, still no go. I installed the sunbelt kerio firewall which sees steam connecting, but doesn't show any activity when RO is launched before this error appears.

I also deleted the clientregistry.blob file, and still get the same error message.

My internet connection is working perfectly well, and I haven't made any changes (except the ones above to try to fix the problem) since the last time I was able to login succesfully to RO OST.

Anyone else getting the same error, or any clue how this can be fixed?

Restart Steam. Right click on RO icon, go to properties, local files and verify integrity of game cache.

If that doesn't work, you may want to email Steam support and tell them a game you paid for isn't showing up.

One solution is run game 1st time with administrator rights:

Thanks, I'll look into this later when back home. I'm pretty sure I'm running as admin on my game machine, but I'll have to check.

From the other posts it looks like it's a RO or Steam bug (or both?)

same thing happens to from time to time.....

open ur task manager goto processes and find redorchestra.exe and end it. then close steam and reopen or it will keep doing it.

I've been having the same problem. I've been able to play only a few times. I tried everything above...no luck. I also contacted Tripwire about how to refund the game. I've never had a problem like this with any game in the past!

same problem here...says its a 'steam error'. Verified game cache and got it to work after it did some update but now won't work at all...PITA to re-verify the cache each time I play HELP!

Yes having this problem right now with STEAM the game wont execute even though i have had to delete the platform and game twice and redowNload RO2 twice= 16GB. Also see my other post in this section. However if tripwire or steam keep passing the buck on then all i can say is get ready lose business guys big time!.
