I was asked to post this on here from the Tripwire twitter so here goes. Whenever I click play on Steam, my steam icon goes from blue to green, which signifies that I launched a game, but right after it goes back to blue, signifying I am no longer in game. That's all I get. No window pops up, no bugsplat, no error message, no sound, no feedback that the game has launched what-so-ever (besides the color change on my Steam icon).
Specs:
CPU: i5-4670K, I am not overclocking it.
RAM: 8GB
OS: 64-bit Windows 7
GPU: GTX970. Drivers are completely up to date as of the GTA V driver patch on its release date.
What I have done:
Reinstalled the game
Restarted my computer
Ran the game as administrator
Ran the game with -dx10
Freshly installed all programs in the KF2 folder
Restarted Steam
Cried profusely for 20+ minutes
The strangest thing is that I ran the beta perfectly fine. I played the beta for multiple hours without a single issue (other than V-sync not working) and this is just baffling.
