Cant join yoshiros server in the beta , it just locks up

at the server welcome screen i cant move my mouse or do anything
i have to restart my computer to exit.

why are you guys so inept at game development that you make patches that break the game further than it is. It really is frankly amazing that the game played better in the beta than it does now. how does that happen?

and im not even trolling , im GENERALLY concerned at how this is possible. I mean you put the game together up to this point but its like everyone on the team was fired and you hired people completely unfamiliar with the game to fix it.

how long does it honestly take to find out why performance is being sapped..

Hating aside i appriciate the other fixes in the patch , the balance needed to be fixed on launch though... have no idea why it took this long to implement

my firewall is off and i dont see what that would have to do with a game lockup.

and deleting my RO folder will do what exactly?

But we have a seperate forum for problems.
I do mean my documents /my games and then delete the ro2 folder. When you start a game there will be made a new folder.

But what have you both tried?

I just found my problem. For some reason, Steam decided to install vanilla RO2 overtop of the beta that I downloaded last night, resulting in all sorts of weirdness. Once I restarted steam with the proper shortcut, the beta redownloaded, and works fine. Now if only people were testing ...

the beta is running really well for me, they need to release it as a proper update now then i guess and hopefully redeem themselves!

Seriously, do you even check the support section? That method has fixed some problems for people. It's usually the first thing I do if the game isn't running right for me.

Save your input.ini and delete the others and restart.

Your gonna have to do that again after the beta any way . Read the last line.

If steam auto launches, or launches any way that is not the steam shortcut with the beta password, it will roll back the update to the live build. But your .ini's will still be set for the new build and will see the beta server and not the live servers.

Yep that explains why even after Steam had reverted me back to Vanilla I was only seeing beta servers. And now I know ...
