Can't Connect to Server, Says "Connecting" Forever

Hi

Whenever I try to join a server in this game it just gets stuck on the black screen before I can even get in, saying "Connecting (F10 to Stop)" or something and then some IP stuff. Please help, I really want to play this game it looks really cool online (it works in singleplayer, but it's not the same)

Im getting the same problem. I can sometimes connect but only a small proportion of attempts seem to work. It does not seem dependent on the server I am trying to connect to either.
