Can't Access Console Admin or Web Admin

Hi guys, I'm new to KF from the Steam free weekend. A couple friends and I were having terrible trouble finding a Normal difficulty server with 3 open slots, so I decided to just rent a dedicated server for a month.

I don't have experience running Unreal dedicated servers, though I have run Battlefield and Tribes servers. I read the stickied tutorial for setup and have everything in KillingFloor.ini set up the way I want.

The problem I'm running into is that I can't take admin privileges in the game via "adminlogin password" and I can't access the WebAdmin interface because it won't accept my credentials. My suspicion is that I just have things set up incorrectly in KillingFloor.ini.

I added AdminPassword=mypassword in Engine.Console. And, per a sticky here, added "?AdminName=myname?AdminPassword=mypassword" to the end of kf_server_launcher.bat.

Server is running on Windows and is rented from Gameservers.com.
I've attached my KillingFloor.ini and kf_server_launcher.bat files, login information has been replaced with dummy info.

http://68.232.177.245:8075 works, that means the web admin is enabled. I would double check the passwords and the admin name.

Right. I can get to that page, but it's not accepting my login credentials. I think I might be setting them in the wrong place, where should I set AdminName and AdminPassword?

I would set it in the command line.

gameservers send you a email with all your details on it if your password is not working read the email on it gives you a link for a weburl game starter you need that installeds for your browser to use ips try that if not gameservers have a support site you can message them from

Since KF came out numerous gameservers customers have had the same issue. For some, they simply used admin | admin to make their first login, for others they rewrote their KillingFloor.ini

You'll find posts in the gameservers forum relating to this issue. Probably best to pose questions there as they appear to have customised certain Admin elements.

Thanks, I poked around on the Gameservers forums and figured it out. I had to add admin credentials by using their website, not just by eding KillingFloor.ini.

Youldn't mind detailing how you did it would you? I myself have exactly the same problme, I've made an admin via their system, and stil can't log in either by their standard set admin, or by the one I made. I've even tried copying the admin I set up as the admin name and password, but its having none of it...

The problem was simpler than I thought it would be. The default username is "Admin" and the default password is "Admin." The tools on the web site are not related to administering the game server itself, just the Gameservers page.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest doing a full wipe on the server and then logging in. From my experience, it seems that Gameservers doesn't allow you to set up admin accounts through changes to KillingFloor.ini or to the command line options.

You should be able to do "adminlogin Admin Admin" in the console and get access that way. And do http://Admin:Admin@[your server IP]:8075 to get to WebAdmin.

nvm, solved it, have to add a admin name and admin password to the Startup CMD. Bloomin hell, its such an easy fix and yet so obscure xD
