There is no option in the video settings to turn anti-aliasing off, as simple as that.

I would also like to know how to turn it off. I've been running around in the RO2Beta folders in steam to see if there is something in there to edit, but damit Jim, I'm a graphic designer, not a script coder :cool:

I am only speculating here but i would imagine that setting these configs to false/0 would do it:

AllowMLAA=False
AllowFXAA=False
FXAAPresetLevel=0

They can be found in
C:\Users\XX\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ROGame\Config\ROEngine.ini

More options and whatnot can be found from here:

Works perfect, thanks.
But developers should add this option to game, I agree.

Well, it didnt work because the value got reset to True, but that may be because I visited the settings of the game.

But anyway, TWI, we need to be able to turn anti-aliasing off, its a huge performance hog and I prefer not to use it at all, not to mention the people that generally have bad performance in the game.

I think that happened to me as well when I went back to the video settings as a number of effects returned into my game that I disabled.

I'll have to change it back in the config next time and just avoid the video settings afterwards

No AA settings in game is honestly very unacceptable.
It's been happening constantly to newer games.

Stop it please.

Also guys, set the file to read-only after you are done editing it to prevent the game from changing them back.

Yeah I was about to come back on here and say to set the file to read only.... that helps keep your settings the way you wanted, even if you manually changed them in the game.... you'll have to turn the read only off to change them again.

Turning AA off on my system helped with a few things, especially that damn fuzzy look to everything.
