I've had this movie on my mind for a few days now, and it's really bugging me, maybe someone here knows what it was called?

I watched it on the telly as a kid, many many years ago, and i don't remember much about it (i wasen't very old when i saw it, maybe 8 or 10 so this was in the late 80's), not even if it was good or bad, but it must be pretty old, and all i remember is this:

It was pretty much the same premise as "Flight of the Phoenix", only, instead of them crashing a C119 in the desert, and making a plane out of the wreckage, it was a B-29 bomber in this flick that crashes on an island, and they make it into a boat and sail away on/in it.

All i remember is beeing really facinated by the idea that a B-29 could be tipped over and made into a boat, i found that very cool indeed, but that's all i have to go on here.

A movie made in 1980 is pretty old? :( I saw it in the movie theater as a kid when it first came out. What does that make me?

I actually thought it would be much older than that, but then again, i didn't have a colour TV for a very long time (i remember watching the A-team and GI-Joe in black and white), and the first colour TV i had was from a dumpster raid, it was pretty busted and showed everything in redish brown, allmost like sepia tone, so that might be why i remember it looking old, i would have watchied it one of thouse telly's.

Still, i was born in 81, so it is older than me by a whole year! :D

Omg no color in '81, we had our first VHS Player about that time. Corded remote, top load and eject.

I didn't have a working colour TV till the 90's actually, you gotta remember that Denmark was in a state of economic depression durring the 80's, so many families here didn't have money for anything but the essentials in thouse days.
