No, and u cant unlock quad drums for it either, which didnt prevent the devs from nerfing the MG34 and chopping it into pieces!
Edit: ..Or adding some quad barrel prototype like the DP-28/IV.

Dont we all love the unlock system?

Apparently they had a heavy barrel version of the DP they mounted on tanks, infantry used to use them when they could get them.
There was a belt fed version, but it didn't appear until 1946 :(
I have heard some people say there was bigger mags for the DP-28 too.

The winter trigger guard was never in Stalingrad or WW2 for that matter, so I say screw it, give us the 1946 DP-28.

I think since the game has clearly taken a turn towards fantasy that they should just go ahead and throw in the RPD and AK47. I'd also like to see the vampir IR scope as well.

What exactly about the MG-34 was chopped into pieces? You do realise that the entire upper receiver of the gun has to be changed if you want to use the drum mags instead of the belt, right? Do you think a squad in the field has an armoury following along with them so they can modify their gun at will?

Maybe I'm missing something. Care to explain?

What is a winter trigger guard and who cares? Does it make the gun fire differently? If not, it's just a skin. Don't look so closely if it bothers you. I've never even paid attention to the unlocks, because the basic weapons can do it all anyway.

It's not free.
Huh? Yes it is. TWI already said that "essentials" will be free. Maps, weapons, vehicles, gametypes will all be released with no charge, while possibly other things may be released later that will cost (non-essential things, perhaps like modifications to your appearance.)

As I said before, to please the DP28-whiners they could model in 12-story-pan-magazine-tower modification, with an attached periscope to look over it.

You guys are actually arguing whether a DLC for a modern main battle tank will be free or not?
