Can two reconnaisance planes attack each other?

My guess is no. I understand the last dogfight of the ETO involved recon planes, and they used pistols shooting out of the windows.

Considering those appear to be light Airplanes, i guess a MG will suffice.

If its supposed to report the position of Enemy Infantry it has to fly kinda low.... at least that would be my guess

Realistically, recon planes should be able to be brought down by mere small arms fire, especially given how low they are flying in the gameplay videos.

Especially since they are pipercub-esque planes, which were often just made out of fabric or wood.
