can`t load ro anymore, no errors...wow

Hi all,

This morning i have played RO and i wanted to play it this afternoon also.
But after loading steam nothing happens....

I have tried with deleting the blob and steamfile but that didn`t work.

Pls help!!!

I had the same **** too. I changed my Driver, to Omega Drivers. If you use an ATI Card, try that maybe, it worked fine for me. I cannot use Xfire anymore, i mean in game chat, but you can play... thats most important ^^.

That can`t be, i use always the nvidia driver.
In the morning i have played RO and in the afternoon it`s a no go...
even no splashscreen....

Well if you're desperate to play I'd say delete local content and redownload it, and next time you have the game and it plays good, make a backup!

After installing the latest drivers it was still a no go.

But.....used lavasoft and it found a trojan. After removing it i could start RO again...yikesssss!!!

Maybe someone can learn from this story..

Interesting - what was the Trojan? Did you take note of it - might be worth our while remembering!

I caught it with lavasoft adaware, strange isn`t it?

But unfortunatly i don`t know which trojan it was.
