Alan (atleast i think it was Alan) let it slip that the Press will be getting a hands on play with the singleplayer sometime this week, don't remeber which thread he posted that in though, or i'd have quoted his post here (but finding it now in one of thouse 12 page monster threads is going to be a chore).
So yeah, expect news sometime "soon".
How are the cutscenes going to be?
The use of cutscenes have neither been confirmed or denied, so there may be one at the start and end, or maybe there wont be, maybe it'll use scrolling text or a voice-over naration, maybe it'll just start and end.
We don't know, but i think we all expect that if there are any cutscenes, they will be short and sweet, and probably only at the beginning and end, i don't think any of us are expecting lots of cutscenes spread throughout the campaign, and i'm guessing there wont be.
I would rather have it that way. If they tried to make a compelling single-player like call of duty their production would be extended be at least a year, if not more. It takes a lot to make some of them.
Not to mention that a linear story driven campaign has practically zero replay value, whereas a more R6'esque Terrorist-hunt style campaign has lots of it.
And yeah, it'll be more like the T-hunt style for Ro2, which i personally am quite fond of
Can you play only with friends? Because I don't have any.
There is a purely Single-player campaign, no need for freinds (but still, do try to get some

).
It can just also be played Coop, it's not a requirement, it's an extra mode of play ontop of the SP.
